Was looking for the Vector Flood Fill in Affinity Designer since it wasn't added by default, and in my searching found THIS. Thank you for this cat, Affinity. It's beautiful.

RMMV's finally working! Had a larger idea in mind, but it's best to do a smaller work to shake the rust off, even if it's with base assets, and spruce it up with custom works later on. Probably a simple collection with a twist at the end. Maybe.
