GiggleWoods V1.1.0 - Proposed Changes

Summary

Hello all!

Below is a brief listing of changes and additions that I am targeting to include in the next release of GiggleWoods.

Before I dive into the details, I want to note that these are all prospective changes at this point in time. I want and need to hear your thoughts in regards to what YOU would like to see implemented in upcoming releases so that I can make sure I am taking care of annoying bugs and adding / removing features that make sense to the player. :)

Proposed Changes

  • Graphical Optimization: Creating optimized meshes and textures will help improve performance quite a bit on lower-end graphics cards and laptops.

  • Asset Optimization: Removing unused textures / audio / scripts / etc. will reduce the size of the download by quite a bit.

  • Alternate Difficulty Levels: The current difficulty level has been tuned to the preferences of myself and friends / family. Adding variations to this will allow players of all skill levels to enjoy themselves.

  • WebGL Build: This will enable players to enjoy GiggleWoods on any platform!

  • Improved Giggler AI: Therea definite need for the Giggler to move in a more unpredictable fashion.

Release Date

Currently, the target release date for V1.1.0 is Friday, 10/21/2016.

Footnote

I want to restate that I am depending on your feedback to make sure this game moves in the right direction. Please feel free to comment or reach out with changes that you would like to see moving forward. I will do my best to accommodate!

Thanks for playing!
