-- The Idea Proposed
--
Trading coins earned through the quests on GameJolt.
Being able to send a certain typed coin amount to another member on the website. -- The Benefits --
People can spend the coins on whatever stickers they want or save them up to use for other things. Helps Art Community on GameJolt:
Why? Adoptables! (Character designs created by artists to give to other people) Rather than having people trade stickers one at a time, they can send a set amount of coins. This could be used to get people excited about art posts with adoptables (characters) being auctioned. More People Will Do Quests:
More people will hop on GameJolt and do quests to get the free coins. This helps the website get advertising money. The quests that are paid for ads might have more people look at if the coins have a greater social reward to them. Coin Commissions
Kids learning to make game assets, selling games, or doing art commissions can learn how commerce works using these coins. May also work for adults too wanting to collect coins or offer a free way to get commissions, while also helping out the website. Coin Give Aways?
Members on the website could maybe give away large sums of coins they collected/earned for art contests or GameJams on the website! That way whenever someone completes one of the main website quests they can find more hosted by other gamejolt members. More People Might Pay For Coins/Bucks
This might encourage people to pay for GameJolt bucks or coins if it means they can have more to trade with on the website, specifically those who cannot use paypal or real money without parent permission or jumping through hoops. More bucks also means some people may want to use what they have leftover to get bgs/animated stickers.
Maybe an item called 'bag of coins' could be sold in the shop in exchange for GameJolt bucks?

This is partially inspired by the website "Amino" which had a similar coin trading system that helped the website stay active, and earn revenue.
