Glitch was human before the incident began. He also had friends such as Skyrost, Rostsky, Mr. Jason, Sledger, and Gladiator. They were good friends until David Hall (Glitch from the past) disappeared.

When David was walking alone down the street, he found a black cube and touched it. Nothing happened. When he touched it again, the cube glitched, and he didn't understand what had happened. He thought the cube had a bug, but he was wrong. As soon as David heard a heartbeat, he realized that the cube was a living object.

After David returned home, he later felt unwell. He had a headache and a cough. As soon as Hall coughed, a glitch came out of his mouth, and he was frightened. When David was about to leave the city, he saw an old photo of himself with his friends and said goodbye. David Hall leaves his home, but for some unknown reason, he falls and ends up in a strange world.

In this strange world, David saw that the sky had turned green and the grass had turned black (it almost looked like magma). He also met the same cube he had met in his city. Chains grabbed David, and he heard the cube's voice saying that David must become part of this virus. As soon as he refused, the cube made Hall even more painful. David had to agree because he had no choice. Now the cube called him Glitch. Glitch ended up in his city and began to infect the city. His friends did not understand what was happening. As soon as his friends entered the strange world, they met him...
