GMS Conversion In Progress...Finally.

I’ve finally decided to just buckle down and convert my old NT project to a GMS functional project, which is taking quite a bit of time. There was quite a bit of old GM functionality that I used (including a now unneccessary .dll for a “real” sound engine) which needs to be replaced and/or filtered out. I’m also moving to a 60 frames-per-second system, with the possibility of moving to a system that also incorporates deltaTime. We’ll see how that goes.

Beyond that, though, I’d say that the delivery time for this project update is finally within the 2-3 month timespan, and will be available for testing hopefully some time sooner so I can iron out the bugs before pushing a replacement release.

This update should also solve any FPS issues that people were having before, including recording performance. Looking forward to getting this done, as it will be an awesome experience once it’s ready.

Walls system complete! New wall system! This new system uses about a third of the number of polygons my old system used, and, in my opinion, looks significantly better for it!

Bandana Dee the Dream Friend

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
