Hey there fellers. It's been a while.
So I've been thinking, like alot. And all I want to say is that I want to apologize to those that are disappointed with the quality of my games as of recent. I've seen people play some of the games I made and having a few things to say about them, and I agree. Some of it's content is probably not all that great in hindsight, and I'm intending to change that going forward.
I think the biggest point of critique is MFCV, since that one of my oldest projects, and it hasn't particularly aged well, like at all. Alot of it's content is not very well received and I can see why. It was made at a time where I pretty much was still a young adult that had no idea on what they were doing at the time. Alot of it's difficulty, gameplay & writing can be attributed to me just winging everything, and I'd say that was probably not a good idea, since the game may as well be unplayable if you decide to skip some of the bonus content.
I will hereby announce that a full-on revamp of the game will come soon. I dunno when, but in the future, expect to see MFCV in a new coat of paint.
Also, I may as well just unlist MFCV altogether. Some may not agree with this, but for me it's more of a preventative measure so they don't have to play this piece of slop that I made like ~5 years ago, where my thought process was much worse than it is today. And again, I apologize if the game made some uncomfortable or outright disgusted. I'll definitely tone it down HEAVILY once the revamp is in the works, or just outright not include certain events that could be seen as questionable.
That's all I wanted to day. All in all I'd say that I want to do better as a dev, because after EVE, I feel like I've sorta jumped the shark, that I've reached my peak with it and possibly can't do any better than that. It made me take a step back from deving for a while, outside from F***yland, which still has it's post-jam release in the works btw. Not sure if I'll immediately dev anything else once that drops, but rest assured I'll try to get something good out for ye. I've just kinda been in a slump, thinking about what it is that i really want as a dev.
