There's now some new progress made on the game, as now, WE'VE GOT THE SEGA AND SONIC 2 TITLE SCREEN SET UP THANKS TO @Sal-kw

Now, as you can see, the data select still remains unfinished, and that's because there hasn't been any code added in yet, SADLY. So look back at the previous post for what help we need.
For those wondering what the level startup's going to be like, I'm planning on having it be something like this.
The level design for Emerald Hill is now completed! Just need some help with the background, and finish the other levels/layouts.
Decided to change engines. Also got some help on replacing the music (thanks to @Sal-kw )
