Goodbye The Return to Wario's, hello Treasure Island: Let the Show Begin!

No, this doesn't mean TRTW is cancelled. It's currently on hiatus until I get my interest back on Five Nights at Wario's again. If you want to check out the unlisted game page, click here.

Anyways, hey everybody! I can't really introduce this devlog properly right now so... You weren't expecting another remake of Malrat_'s old FNaTI games again, huh?

There's actually a few reasons why I decided to make this FNaF fangame, one of them being me making another revival of a cancelled FNaTI game akin to Red Oddities Museum. I always see potential in these scrapped fangames and the fact that they've never seen in the public makes me feel sad that all this work goes to waste. That was also the main reason I made ROM; to present what a finished version of this game would look and play like, using previous concepts while conceptualizing my own original ideas into the mix.

Second, this game is sort of an infamous enigma (WHAT) within the FNaTI community. I'm sure all of you have seen this video before, but if you haven't, it's a stolen clip from my FNaTI 2: LTSB DUMPscare video, where I actually animated the jumpscares for the original version of the fangame. Not to mention that this was once mistaken to be a product of Radiance's.

So to give ya'll a history lesson, @StewyRale was the original creator of this game before cancelling it due to motivation loss. I was one of the original developers for this fangame, being the usual jumpscare animator, and made the original DUMPscare video after the game was canned to showcase what I've made for it. Hope that clears any confusion!

Lastly, there hasn't been any attempt at making a FNaF 4 styled FNaTI game and I've been lately inspired by Final Nights 3's gameplay. One of my original FNaF fangame plans was to create a 2d version of Final Nights 2 and 3 using models and environments from the 4th game, but this later proved to be ambitious and I wanted to reuse the idea for this fangame, since the original version did not have any mechanics planned aside from the cliché shutting off cameras, as well as a taser and a radar of all things.

And that's pretty much it! Before I go to sleep, I wanna say that I'll fully begin working on this game once I've finished updating all of Red Oddities Museum, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for reading and see you all next time!
