Lore one - DEATH

In my Griefdog lore, the speed and duration of the crew's deaths contribute significantly to the psychological weight of the story. here is the breakdown of how fast or slow each member died:

Very Fast (Instantaneous)

• Pearl the Espeon: Instant. Having her head and half of her body exploded by a point-blank Self-Destruct means her brain was destroyed faster than pain signals could travel. This is the quickest and least lingering death.

• Blacky the Umbreon: Near-Instant. Being crushed by a massive boulder typically causes immediate, fatal trauma to the entire body, ending life in a matter of seconds.

Fast

• Leafy the Leafeon: Seconds to Minutes. Being "burned alive in intense heat" is a violent and painful way to go, but high-intensity fire from a Charizard would likely cause fatal shock or respiratory failure relatively quickly compared to physical butchering.

Slow

• Sunshine the Eevee: Minutes. Being "eaten by a Rhydon" involves being swallowed or crushed by teeth. While terrifying and deeply sad, the process of being consumed by a large terrestrial Pokémon is a drawn-out ordeal of terror and physical trauma.

• Flare the Flareon: Minutes to Hours. Being eaten by a Talonflame mirrors how eagles eat—pinning prey down and tearing it apart piece by piece while it is still alive. This is a methodical, predatory death that is far slower than a simple explosion or impact.

Very Slow (Prolonged Agony)

• Lazuli the Glaceon: Extremely Prolonged. Being "torn and butchered" by a Berserker Bisharp implies a slow, jagged process of being cut apart. The term "butchered" suggests a level of cruel precision that lasts far longer than any natural accident.

• Crystal the Vaporeon: Extremely Prolonged. She was "slowly mangled" by a Berserker Pinsir. Pinsirs are known for their crushing grip; being slowly crushed and torn apart over an extended period makes this one of the most agonizing and slowest deaths in the timeline.

Speedy's siblings were flare and crystal. and his adopted daughter is sunshine the eevee. Pearl is freinds with speedy and blacky was speed's childhood buddy. leafy and lazuli were siblings. leafy was the first crush of speedy when they first met. [then got rejecteted kindly] and lazuli. from enemies to friends, to freinds to lovers. silvia is speedy's first gf since they are eevees. then rejected. and became friends.
