Guilt-Update: Back to (a Prettier) Square One!

I call this the guilt update because I promised I would keep you guys informed every few days, and I feel like I’m already failing after the first post! Nonetheless I have made some progress and have decided to upload another build for you all to play with. There are some things that are missing from the previous build (such as full-screen mode, and right-click to remove blocks which both will be added later), BUT there are some new features as well:

  • There are now 5 blocks to play with, you can switch between blocks by pressing the C key. The 5th block is a light source.

  • No gravity in build mode, so you can fly where you want.

  • Better textures (at least thats what I think!)

I hope to bring another update before the end of the week. What I’d like to work on next is adding right-click to remove blocks, smaller blocks, color options, and a save/load function. Those are my next steps. Enjoy

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
