I would like to remind every parties involved that if we start jumping on everyone's neck for diverging opinions, then we just step on the message of compassion and love that the game that brought us together wanted to share.
Both sides have legitimate reasons to stand. On one side, people doesn't want to give up on the project who was that near of completion, on the other people want to respect the dev team will to keep the project down due to its past.
Stay kind, defend your point without attacking the others. There are people on the other side.
