I've been playing through TAALFS after watching a playthrough of it, and a lot of theories are popping into my head. So this isn't necessarily a question to Memphisto himself (although he is more than welcome to answer,) but directed to the community to discuss this theory.

What causes Haiden's nature of violence to the player- or, more accurately, *why* was Haiden damaged? He's not possessed - due to the fact that the white eyes indicate possession, which Haiden lacks.

Me, personally, I like to believe that the reason why he's so aggressive is because of the minigame after Night 3. We see Haiden investigate a trail of mud leading to a room with Rachel and the dead child, and Rachel seems to rush at him with ambiguity on what happens next. It could be that Rachel damaged Haidens systems for witnessing the act, because she states how Haiden is her least favorite animatronic, but also the interview with Haiden recites how "they are repaired once a week." He also doesn't seem to be aware that he attacks Ashley, due to the interview, yet again, stating how he usually is "sleeping" and "has no reason to get up" during the night when he is asked about his moving patterns in the game itself.

I've read the wiki and this is just what I like to think - I'm pretty sure it's implied in the story, and it might not even be a theory in itself, which I apologize for. But it's cool to get some insight from others perspectives!
