Nine years ago today, "Five Nights at Sonic's 5: The First Chapter" was released by TheCyVap himself. And, even though the game was.. for the lack of better words; SOMEWHAT MEDIOCRE, it still deserves respect to its name for being the only game of the entire series to be origin-al. (Get it? Original? Origin? Origin Sonic? ..I will shut up now.)
Even if the game is overshadowed by the community a lot, (It doesn't get that many remakes compared to the other original FNaS titles, and most of those remakes just get shafted/cancelled.) it still deserves a bit of a spotlight.. this also applies to us here at Team Regenerated.
The Special Announcement
I promised a golden announcement, therefore, I will abide to my words:
From now on, all Acts (except Act 1's Rework) will now be released separately.
That's right, we (by we, I mean I.) won't make you wait 2000 years to play the entirety of Next Generation Regenerated on its own and we'll release every game part by part until Act 1 Rework is left.
The reason why Act 1 Rework won't be released as a standalone is because I want it to release alongside the launcher. You will be able to play all of the other games from there (except Act 1 Classic, you will still be able to play it via the game page on its own download button for pure archival purposes) and potentially see all other content that might be locked behind the full release.
New content?
Don't take this as a guarantee. I might make it so that all content in, let's say, as an example, Act 2 is available from the get-go as soon as it releases or I might make it so that SOME of the content is locked out of Act 2 on its stand-alone release until the full release is out.
I still need to discuss this with the team and see what we can do from there.. and before you ask; "what anymore content could there be in a remake of FNaS 2? Wouldn't you just lock some of the achievements that prevents 100%?" if you asked that.. somehow.. my answer is: You don't know that. Don't assume. It's weird to assume.
That is all I wanted to share, I need to get back to coding for MPW and stuff like that. I promise I won't take long to get back to NGR, pronto. I just wanted to go back to my first original project to take a break from NGR for a bit.
But when I get back, Act 0 will be boosting in development.
See you soon...
