Hey guys. Tonight is Abandoned: Discovery Island/FNATI:F R0's 6th anniversary... whew, the memories. I'm spending time with my extended family and don't have access to Classic Deluxe's development files at the moment, so instead I'll give you all a brief retrospective.
Looking back, developing this game was a wild ride. I've got fond memories of the time I spent working on this, some not-so-fond memories (crunch), met lots of awesome members of the fanbase, made a lot of stupid last-minute development decisions (*cough* Undertale), learned a lot of important lessons, and got to work alongside some amazing people.
Even though I might not be all that proud of the end result - there's a reason I'm making Classic Deluxe after all, and Arcade/the soft reboot after that - I'm still glad that I made this game and the impact that it's had on me. And once again, to everyone that enjoyed it in spite of its flaws: thank you so much!
Stay tuned tomorrow - I'll have something to share then!
