So I finished this 9 days before her birthday xd. Wanted to work ahead of time because was unsure about how school and OC-tober prompts would affect if I did this closer to her birthday. Quite fun to draw though.

Oh yeah, why 4 of her? They're all [technically] timelines.

On the left is Swap which I later renamed to Adapt, it was a concept I made basically asking "what if Caroline got sick?" about a year and 4 months ago [found my og message with Kat about this idea xd]. Originally she was just a swap but with 70% of Ana's personality and 30% of her original personality, [inspired by Altertale even though that was an 80/20 personality switch].

She had chloride gas grenades instead of iodine, originally had a strap but removed it because that was way too Ana xd. Also the concept had that Ana was I guess cured from the virus while Caroline wasn't, Adapt is outdated for a reason.

Oh yeah the bandana over her face? That's because some scientists experimented on her and she has yellow lines on her face. She also uses it as a mask basically because she has breathing problems [that's also canon to normal Caroline. BLEEEEEH LORE DUMP]

Caroline needs no real introduction I've drawn her so many times, she's Ana's childhood best friend and the one of the main characters in Anarchists [which will hopefully become a game one day].

The other two are from different endings you can get in said game, starting with Collapse: Collapse happens when you are just plain violent but don't use virus much, specific actions affect Caroline which in the end makes her Ana's enemy well unless you spare her. I made a comic about the route a year ago though it's a bit outdated due to an old friend not being part of the story anymore. [Well that's the main reason anyway. Still semi proud of the comic].

The last one is Termination: Termination happens when you do basically everything to make Caroline hate you and she breaks. [This is oversimplified for a reason, AKA spoilers]. Also take that design with a grain of salt, I never really know how to design her.
