Despite everything, we’re still here. Most good RPGs would have been loved, completed and forgotten about by now, yet one year later it’s still a hard game to move on from, despite doing its best to make you feel guilty for playing. It’s a game that’s affected a lot of different people in a lot of different ways, and despite the genocide theme of Determination, Undertale’s effect on us was entirely positive. After years of abandoned, half finished projects, playing Undertale and reading about Toby Fox’s history of fan games finally gave us the determination we needed to finish something. So thank you Toby Fox, and happy birthday Undertale!
