Happy new year!


I thought I ought to write a little post concluding the past year, and all things considered this would be the best place for me to write such a post.

This year for me has been a really good year for me when it comes to developing games, I have learned so much and gotten so much better in my craft. It´s been a pleasure creating games, chatting on gamejolt and learning to know new people and I would like to thank everyone who has kept me company over the year and lended me advice and counsel.

From getting my first game featured on the main page to scoring 11 in the pewdiepie game jam, this year has been filled with pleasent surprises. As we head into the new year, I have only one resolution; Create more and better games.

Thanks for this year on gamejolt and lets welcome the forthcoming one!

The end is drawing near!

Eldritchvania is drawing ever nearer its completion. We are still working on polishing everything, adding sounds and vfx. We wont be announcing any release dates...yet. But know that exciting... and horrible things await you...

Looking to polish up some of our older enemies. I remade the walking animation for this enemy. The old one (top) wasn't really conveying the motion very well. The new one is a bit more frantic but I think it creates a far more interesting impression.

Eldritchvania polish is continuing! This week I made some improvements to the options menu. Old ( top) vs New ( bottom). The new menu is more in line with our other UI, and also has some extra options which have been in our backlog for a while!

While we can't give an exact release date, we are closer than ever, and hoping for a release early 2024.

Eldritchvania is full of devious puzzles. Some might be harder than they look. Will you be able to conquer them all? ( Its hard to show off puzzles without giving hints, but hopefully you wont be able to gleam too much from this!)
