Now everything else is missing, because creating art and thinking about how a TOTALLY Irrelevant NPC is going to look takes a lot of time, more than it should.
As a gift, I'm going to give a couple of Dev's tips:
-Start your game by planning how and when you will do each Step of the Develoment. If possible, make a concept map for when someone comes to try to help you.
-Give advance notice when you can't work on the game, otherwise everyone will think you've been kidnapped or something.
-Try talking on Discord, Even if you won't be able to keep up with everyone else when you want to talk about a topic that interests you. (Or not)
-Whatever you do, DON'T HIRE TROLLS or get involved in controversies! And I mean it when I say this, especially when it comes to hiring trolls.
-Create your game's page when you have something substantially done, like 60% of the game finished, or 40% if your product is impressive by the damned standards of the High Lisaheads. (As you may have noticed over the past year and two months since I launched the game page, I had to learn this tip on my own
)
-Don't get too big for your britches when the High Lisaheads applaud your project. We don't want it to grow to the point where it consumes eight years of the fandom's life.
-And even though it's your first project, make sure that every detail doesn't show it. The High Lisaheads have the final say in deciding whether your project deserves to be destroyed, and get sending to the Maggot underwolrd of the of cringe games made by 12-year-olds, and their decision rests on whether your main character's sprites are different for the left and right sides, or if you simply copied the right one and flipped it without editing. That is very, VERY IMPORTANT for their judgment...
Unhinged, right. But it will help your fangame get considered for the 2-hour video analysis, You'll thank me when you get it.
Fortunately for me, this year I finished both degrees I signed up for, so I'll have more time to make this mod one of the few story told in this miserable Saga.
