Also a lil explanation/note: in the 3rd pic, the characters in the photo cards are my gijinkas of lil(I guess fanmade by me lmao) alt versions of Rat and Cat; they’re meant to be the monsters before they had became monsters in Mary’s mind due to her suppressing her trauma at the theater. I like to think they used to be imaginary friends to Mary before that, much like how Origami Cat and others were, but after the incident at the theater, Mary suppressed them from her memory, and that caused them to corrupt into the monsters we see in fnac 3.
A part of Mary still wishes to see them as their old selves again, though of course there’s no going back anymore. The past cannot be altered…
