Hear me out okay. I was thinking about adding kitchens to the save rooms and letting players sometimes find ingrediants to make healing items. This won't take away finding them and being able to buy them.

It is kind of an attempt to balance out some stuff

I am putting this here to add some more detail to what I said above.

This is being added because I plan on uping how hard some of the monsters are since they can't seem to damage some of the classes. This means I need to make changes to them so that they hit harder, and have more attacks. This was an issue on my part for not seeing it earlier in the game making process.

I want the game to be hard, and at some point make the player need to be more cautious eventually. At some point I may go the route of Resident Evil where the money beomes harder to get making buying more of a second option.

That is something that is kind of up in the air right now. I have a lot to think about before the next update, but like I said I am going back to work soon. This means that I will take longer putting out my updates.

Let me know what you would think about the idea of restricting money and healing items in stores. To be honest I might take the store out fully and make power ups and healing items crafting only. Still leave in the fate and gatcha games. Maybe make the store where you can get ingredents only.

I don't know I might leave it as is and add to it since the game has one store only and it is in only one place making it sort of hard to get to.

Update for the upcoming game update is here for you.

I have shrank and I am reworking the basement. I added new and reworked the events in the basement. I added a new area that connects to the hallway. I added new music and a new monster.

I decided to try my hand at announcement videos.

Here is a look into an area I am working on. This is far from done, but when I am done it will look very different. It might also go through changes when I release it like the others did.

The first set of songs from my game are coming out on streaming in December. I’ll be releasing more early next year as I make them.

Outside of working on this game I have been working on music as a constant side project for like a year or two now with my current music project. It is as a way to learn music production and theory so it could add to my projects such as my game.

I have both versions of the Act I sound track scheduled. The difference is the Deluxe has 5 more songs. I will keep the release date as long as I can, but I’m hoping it will get accepted. Average length is 1 minute 50 seconds.

Here is a look into the map reworks that are coming in the new update. This map has litterally been cut down by half in height and width.

Reworking the basement is going to scare me because of the plans that I had for it that I haven't done.

NVM I fixed my issue. I was overthinking it. I'm still gonna learn how to do JavaScript coding to learn how to make plugins. I think I could make some cool unique things for the game if I do.

So the update is finished outside of adding some things to do.

Starting to (try) to make some custom assets and trophies for my game. Starting with trophies for the achievements to get back into the swing of pixel art. Haven’t done it in a bit.
