We've been busy with our lives and school, but that's just how it be sometimes. We're getting into the trenches tho, and development is scraping along! Currently we're doing these things:
Combat and Overworld Music
Combat System Development
More Concept Development
Promotional Artwork (finished!)
Code Optimization
Once we finish the Combat System, we will begin work on the environmental puzzle system, and then- story implementation, interior designing, adding items, creating characters, and much more!
Then at some point around there we will likely have a Demo Build ready for your grubby lil hands to mess with and enjoy!
To speak more on music, something super awesome that happened is that our own KAZ(!) is currently working as the main Composer for music on the project! Everyone give em a hand for being the best
In fact, I might just release a track they made here as a taste of their musical prowess! (eventually) But that's up to them first of all
Let's not forget that Ordinatis has been on the project for a long time too, and joined shortly after our former composer Adrnlmao did (miss u buddy :[ ), so they deserve just as much if not more praise for their hard work and dedication too. Thanks guys!!!!
To speak more in-depth on where we are in coding, Semi-Recently we finished up getting an inventory working when in combat, now we are hard at work on getting "Commands" working. Think of it as our version of "ACTing" but for Unsummited. When you use Commands, special things, negative or bad, will happen in gameplay, and the PEACE VALUE of an enemy may be effected, helping you quicken up or mistakenly lengthening the battle.
The cool thing about this is that it's a perfect segway to beginning true work on implementing the first MINI GAME! As you may know, mini games are the way that you fight or defend in Unsummited. Essentially THE cornerstone of the game. It's taken 116 builds to get to where we are now, and I am so proud to have even gotten here.
Have any questions??? Feel free to ask! If I dont respond quick, you might get me faster if you join our discord, or @ me on twitter! (https://www.twitter.com/DrScoopDEV/)
