This is something like an inauguration to this game page. I will write a little about what is the game, how is it being made, and stuff like that.
But first of all, I’m introducing myself, since this is the first time I submit something here. My name is Orlando Marín, but you can call me by my pseudonym, Orochii Zouveleki, since I use it most of the time in the net. I’m a graphical design student, and a hobbyist in therms of game development, but I enjoy it a lot and I’m thinking of making it for a living someday. I’m still young!
Now let’s talk about Drekirökr. The meaning for it’s name derives from words “dreki” (means dragon in nordic) and “rökr” (dusk in nordic too). The subname “Dusk of the Dragon” is meant to be a translation-wannabe.
A lot of the story background and main plot stuff are based on nordic mythology, some other are based on other mythologies like Indian and Aztec. Almost all the creatures that appear (either as enemies or allies) are based somehow on mythical creatures from different sources.

Drekirökr is an open-world fantasy/sci-fi role-playing game. It has a main set of “quests” for the main storyline, but it also features (or will do) sub-stories, some of them greater, some very short. And also are the small quests and all that stuff. It’s meant to be expanded after making the main storyline, and is being made on an Engine that lets anyone to edit it - the RPG Maker XP. People would be able to make mods that way if they so wish, or just play.
So far, it’s a little slow in development, since I’m the only one working on it, from graphics to code (almost all music was done by a friend that goes by the name of TitanNémesis, thanks dude!). But I’m getting somewhere.
There’s still some technical stuff to fix, I’m not that procifient with coding (I’m more of a graphical guy -?-), but the main systems are already done. There’s a lot of graphical stuff to do. But after that, it will be as easy as just creating more content.
And that’s it, sorry for the wall of text, see you next time,
Orochii Zouveleki
