Hello, yes the project is not dead, its been a hard year for me, a lot of stuff happened on my private life, some good, some really bad, anyway, i am trying to fix everything up, sorry for the delay, lets talk about the new update!!!


The enemies update
well, the enemies are a big part of this update, so first lets speak about some of our new faces

  • Roaming enemy: A new enemy that shoots bullets that follow the player (Can be spawned with the number 8 on the dev room)

  • Healer: A passive enemy, this one doesnt hurt you, but will rather heal his friends, using a healing circle that heals with time (Can be spawned with the number 9 on the dev room)

we also have other minor changes:

  • New damage system: Now when the enemy hits you, he doesnt die, he will slowly take damage while dealing damage to the player

  • Better Movement and collision: i made some fix with how the enemies collide with each other, the long distance enemies will now follow the player if he gets too far away

New Graphics + Menu:

This update also comes with a rebranding on the graphics (kinda)

  • New Graphics menu: You can now access a new tab on the menu, you can change the graphics as you want, going from "Outline" to "Full sprites" and "Custom"

  • All enemies have new sprites: Each enemie has it Outline and Full Sprite version

  • All classes have new sprites: Each class has it Outline and Full Sprite version

  • All weapons have new sprites: weapon enemie has it Outline and Full Sprite version

  • Full Screen option: You can now enable or not the full screen ingame

New Wave and Level up system:

I also changed the wave system on the infinite mode for a better gameplay

  • Wave system: Each wave has x number of enemies that will spawn as soon as the wave starts, no more infinite enemies flooding your game, to go to the next wave you have to kill every enemy and collect their xp

  • Level up: To level up you need to kill every enemy and collect all xp, therefore you level up at least once per wave, you can level up more if you get the inteligence perks

  • Waves: There is a total of 40 waves before you stop seeing new stuff

New Character and Weapon:

I also worked on a new class, with a interesting mechanic

  • New Character: Meet the new character named Ben, he is a Knight, he uses iron armor and a sword

  • New Weapon Iron Sword: High damage to close enemies, but if you dont hit anything with the attack, launches a wind attack that deals half damage (thats how you attack the long range enemies)

New Perks:

i also added some perks because they were related to the new mechanics

  • Spike: Makes so you deal more damage to enemies that are touching you

  • Resistence: Add one more point to your bullet life, so it can hit more enemy bullets

Bux fixes:

i fixed the last version bugs

  • I fixed the bug related to the mouse icon and the hud, i also fixed the bug where the enemies would shoot during paused game

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
