Hi there!
For those who haven't been keeping up with this page, let me bring you up to speed:
In my last post, I declared that Shadowfell Saga is possibly being uncancelled (and renamed to Skelestar Saga).
I decided to change the approach I'm taking: Using a 3D engine, rewriting the story from scratch (to be more strictly Undertale-based than Deltarune-based) and reducing the scope of the project significantly.
I also mentioned that I would likely be putting together a team, which I'll tell you about now...
TEAM APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!!!

All applications should go to this Google form!
Please avoid sending applications to my DMs, it's easier if everything just goes to one place.
As a disclaimer, this project would be volunteer-only. No payment or compensation is planned for team members, since this is just a passion project for fun. This is pretty standard for fan-game teams but I figured I'd clarify.
The current plan is to make the game a 3D project in the Godot Engine. Because of that, the highest priority roles are probably Godot Programmers and 3D Artists.
Here's the full list of what I'm looking for!
Godot Programmers: I'm choosing Godot as our engine of choice since it's free and open source, it's a very versatile engine and it's very comfortable to use. That being said, the workload of even this smaller project is going to be quite large. Having a couple of extra programmers to help build the engine wouldn't hurt! Having a good understanding of node-based architecture, knowing how to use Git version control and ideally having some experience working with 3D would help with this.
3D Artists: The style I have in mind for the game is something like a weird blend of Brothership's artstyle and Superstar Saga's artstyle; A 3D world that's processed into pixel art. Check out the PixelOver tool on Steam. I usually use Blender, but as long as your modelling program exports to .obj, anything works. I'm specifically looking for artists that can do low-poly 3D characters and 3D area tilesets.
3D Riggers: Someone who can make cartoony and exaggerated face rigs is an absolute priority for maintaining the skelebros' expressiveness and goofiness through a 3d model.
Musicians: Ideally someone with a good handle on mixing and instrumentation. At the moment I'm using FL Studio 12. Any other DAW or version is fine, though our primary form of collaboration would have to be passing midis to each other in that case.
Other: If you're not one of these things but you still want to apply, go ahead! Having a couple sprite artists, concept artists, writers or any other roles on the team would be helpful, the roles listed are just what I think I would need a large amount of help with.
The applications will be open until May 31st!
