Here comes Valkyria 2.0 at last!


Hello everyone!

Thank you very much for your comments and your feedback. After the Game Jam, we decided to finish the game as we wanted for the Jam, so here it is at last for all of you. We hope you enjoy it and, even though Daniel the designer says it’s stupidly difficult, I have to tell you that I (Carlos) don’t have any problem to beat it without loosing any live… well, almost, hehehe.

There’re still a couple of things we would like to fix (specially adjuste the volume of the SFX and the music), but please feel free to tell us what you like and what you hate while the v2.1 is being cooked :).

Muchas gracias por vuestros comentarios y vuestro feedback. Después de la Game Jam decidimos acabar el juego tal y como lo planteamos para la misma, ¡así que aquí lo tenéis por fin! Esperemos que os guste y, a pesar de que Daniel el diseñador dice que es jodidamente difícil, tengo que deciros que yo (Carlos) no tengo ningún problema en pasarmelo sin perder ni una vida… o bueno casi, jejeje.

Todavía hay un par de cositas que queremos ajustar (sobre todo ajustar el volúmen de los sonidos y la música), pero no tengáis ningún reparo en decirnos ahora qué os gusta y qué odias mientras se cuece la versión 2.1 :).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
