Alderney State Correctional Facility - Alderney, America
“Well, here you are, you two-tongued bastard! I’ve been looking for you!”, Johnny exclaimed, aiming his pistol directly at Billy’s face. The prison alarm was going off in the distance after Johnny’s gang unleashed all hell on the prison gates. Dead prison guard bodies were everywhere, as helicopters prepared to send in reinforcements. The rest of the Lost MC were preparing to rendezvous at Johnny’s location once they got through the rest of security.
Billy surprisingly didn’t run away when faced by Johnny. He just stood there, in front of his correction facility home, waiting to accept the bullet Johnny was about to put in him. “Johnny boy, you’ve reached too far this time! Checkmate, dude!”
Johnny aimed his pistol towards Billy’s forehead, yet Billy still didn’t move a muscle. “Come on, man, get it over with. Do it!”, he taunted.
“I’m doing it!”, Johnny exclaimed, but he still hesitated to shoot for a moment. He wanted to see if Billy had any final words left to say for himself. After everything he did to the Lost: practically causing a civil war that tore apart the gang into two factions, stealing heroin and getting the Triads pissed off, and even willing to snitch out the Lost to the FIB to get himself out of prison.
Billy laughed as Johnny stood there. The thunder and heavy rain clouds around them added perfectly to the aesthetic of the situation. He looked at him in spite.
“What?! Are you waiting for a fucking speech or something?! Come on!” Billy angrily charged at Johnny, but before he could shoot back, Johnny’s eyesight began to spiral out of control. A strange, TV-like static vision was all that the biker could see, until he finally lost consciousness.

The Entrance of UA High
The gigantic highschool building stood majestically in Musutafu, Japan. Almost as if the school was standing over the center of the whole wide world. UA High School...I can’t actually believe I’m standing in front of it right now. I’ve heard that only the best of the best of heroes can enter it. It’s the hardest hero course to get into. It brings in students from all kinds of different elite fields. The place was built to train the next generation of heroes to maintain the peace and security for all across the nation.
There are two requirements that you need in order to enter into Hope’s Peak. First, you have to have a quirk. Well, I mean, I used to not meet that qualification, but now, thanks to All Might, I might just have a shot of getting into UA. Second, you need to pass the UA exam to show what you’re skilled at in order to enroll. For those that don’t pass, they don’t get a spot for enrollment.
And somehow, defying all possible odds, here I was, standing right in front of the gates to this glorious academy. I told you I could do it, Kacchan.
Oh, yeah. I should probably introduce myself right now. My name is Izuku Midoriya. I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m average when it comes to my appearance - my vivid dark green hair, black uniform dress, white undershirt, yellow backpack and red shoes would probably make me look more ordinary. Then again, my attitude and personality are much more defining of who I am. You could say I’m pretty sensible and optimistic at times, and I’m definitely determined. “Make it just in time,” Izuku said to himself as he walked near the entrance of the massive school.
If I’m being honest, I was pretty anxious before I got here. To prepare, I had to train for the past ten months with All Might, all so I could be prepared to inherit the quirk he was going to give to me. And he didn’t go easy on me, either. It was intense and extremely exhausting, but the drive to becoming a hero was strong enough to keep me going. Finally, this is the moment of truth. To see if all of my hard training paid off or not.
There’s an elegant clock over in the corner of the hall, stating that it’s 7:10 AM. I was so wound up that I almost didn’t arrive in time. Looks like I just made it. Standing around here isn’t exactly productive...I should take a look around the school.
I was so worried about the exam that I didn’t even get a chance to test out my new power. I may have swallowed that hair, but I don’t feel like anything great has happened to me yet, Izuku thought.
“Stupid Deku…”, a voice he was all too familiar with said to him. Izuku turned around to see his ‘friend’ Bakugo right behind him. He had very spiky blonde hair, red eyes, and a VERY hostile attitude. “Get out of my way now before I set you on fire,” he told him calmly, yet sternly.
“Oh, hey! Good morning! Um, let’s just do our best out there, okay?! Good luck!”, Izuku said nervously. Bakugo just walked past and ignored him. Ever since that day I helped rescue him from that sludge monster, Kacchan has been taking it easier on me. I guess I was just scared out of habit. You see, even though Bakugo was Izuku’s ‘friend’, he still tended to be very aggressive and hurtful towards Izuku. The nickname he chose for Izuku was Deku, and he used it as a way to insult him wherever they went. But Izuku didn’t mind the nickname, and Bakugo didn’t mind Deku calling him “Kacchan”, either.
But I’m not defenseless anymore. Yeah, I have to remember all of the work I put in. Thanks to All Might, I’m actually going to be a hero!
Izuku prepared to set foot into the next exciting new phase of his life, before he tripped on his shoelace and fell. He felt as if time was slowing down as he began to fall to the ground.
“Or I’ll just die…"
Right before he was about to accept his face hitting the firm concrete below him, he felt a soft hand touch his back. He waited for the impact, but nothing happened. It was like he was floating in the air. What… Why haven’t I hit the ground yet? When he opened his eyes again, he saw that he was indeed floating in the air now, inches above the pavement below him. This instant realization caused me to freak out, and started nervously panicking.
“Ha! Are you okay?”, the girl next to him asked. Once Izuku got a good look at her, he stopped panicking. Oh, she must’ve done something to stop my fall. No wonder I was floating in the air, he thought. The kind girl decided to help get Izuku back on his feet. She giggled slightly. She had very curly hazelnut brown hair, with a noticeable blush in her cheeks, and brown eyes. Izuku could tell she had a very amiable vibe. She put her hands together before speaking.
“I stopped you with my quirk. I’m sorry I didn’t ask first, but… I figured you wouldn’t mind me catching you,” the girl told him. “I’m Ururaka, by the way. Uraraka Ochako. Nice to meet ya!”
Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God! A GIRL IS TALKING TO ME! Izuku had no idea what to do next. He was standing there, still as stone, paralyzed and blushing.
“Isn’t this all, like, way nerve-wracking?”, Uraraka told him. Immediately, Izuku snapped out of it and tried his best to respond. He was nervously shaking when he spoke.
“Uh… uh… I, uh… yeah, yes! Very nerve-wracking! I’ve been preparing all night to make sure I'll be ready!” He noticed that he forgot to introduce himself to the cute girl who just helped him. “Oh, s-sorry! My name’s Izuku Midoriya! Pleasure to meet you!”, he said anxiously.
“Thanks! Well, I guess I’ll see you inside. Bye, Izuku!”, Uraraka told him, before heading into the UA gates.
WOAH! I JUST TALKED TO A GIRL ALL BY MYSELF! He couldn’t tell, but he was laughing hysterically. I can’t believe I actually did that! And she wasn’t even weirded out by me, either! Maybe this day won’t be as bad as I thought after all!
Izuku noticed that the world around him was becoming distorted beyond reality, while he experienced a major headache. He was wondering what the hell was going on, but before he could get any definitive answers, his vision was fading to black. He had lost consciousness.

START OF PROLOGUE
—-------------------------------------
Ugh...where...where the hell am I? Izuku’s face felt practically numb as he tried to open his eyes, his vision starting to come back to him. What happened last night? For some reason I...I-I just can't remember it. I was at UA high, heading to the exam, then I bumped into Kacchan, but that's where my memory starts to cut to static.
Izuku found himself sitting at a desk, covered completely in dust. He looked at the room around him and saw that the classroom was in very bad shape. Several chairs and desks were knocked over, the teacher's desk looked like it had been destroyed by a machine gun, and the floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the 90s. On top of that, the lights above him were very dim, and where there should've been windows, there were gigantic metal sheets, firmly bolted to the wall. It was sealed efficiently, too, as he couldn't see a ray of sunlight coming out of them.
How did I get here?! This can’t be UA, can it? I didn’t even get to take the exam yet! This must be some other school, but I don't know why everything here looks so abandoned, Izuku thought. I need to find a way out of this place. He had no idea where to go next, and the only exit he could see was an open door near the end of the room. He also noticed that in the top left corner of the room, there was some kind of security camera watching him, too. The red light coming from the camera made Izuku think that someone was watching his every move.
Wait…could this actually be the exam? No, that wouldn’t make sense. This wasn’t like anything I studied for. Maybe the staff is trying to pull a surprise on us or something? But why would they need to knock me out unconscious for that? And where’s Kacchan? Izuku had no idea where to go next, so he decided to leave the classroom to explore the area some more.
He exited the abandoned classroom and made his way to the hallways. They were in much better shape than the classroom. The floors looked surprisingly clean, most of the ceiling lights were fixed and operational, and the walls seemed to be covered in a luxurious orange type of plaster. Why is it so tidy in the halls but so messy in the rooms? I don't recognize anything here. I don’t think this is UA High. Maybe it’s the training grounds they use for the exam? I guess I still have to keep looking. I should probably keep my guard up in case I find anyone else.
He walked down the hallway to see if there was anything he could find. Nothing too special so far. Just some more abandoned classrooms and posters of heroes like All Might, Midnight, Hawks and a few more on the walls, but not much else. A short while later, he came across some kind of trophy case, filled with many awards that the school must've won. Weird. None of these say anything about UA High. Izuku began to wonder if this really was some kind of exam anymore, or if he was in a completely different situation.
“Hello?! Is anyone else out here?!”, he cried out down the long hallways. No replies came. This had him on edge considering that he was alone in a building he had no idea about, unaware of how he ended up in this situation. No luck so far. I’ll have to cover some ground first if I’m going to get any answers, Izuku thought.
As he went around the corner, he heard faint footsteps getting closer to him. On the other side of the corner, a normal boy dressed in a casual outfit approached Izuku. He probably might be from the UA exam, too, he thought.
"And that makes sixteen," the stranger said to him, in a soothing voice. He was wearing a dark blue and light blue horizontally-striped shirt, wearing some kind of item attached to a necklace. He had several ear piercings on his left ear, and his lightish-green hair was very wavy. Izuku jumped back at the surprising presence of the boy.
“WAAH! Who the heck are you?!”, Izuku screached.
“Hey, relax. Did you get kidnapped, too?”, the stranger asked. “Well, you seem to be doing alright. So that’s good. Situation could be better, though.”
“Kidnapped? What are you talking about? I don’t remember being kidnapped,” Izuku told him.
“Really? That’s strange. How did you get here, then?”
“I don’t know! One moment I was getting ready to set foot on UA grounds, the next I woke up here without a clue!”, Izuku said.
“So, you’re the same, too? You have no idea how you got here? I guess that means everyone here is the same,” the mysterious student said.
“Wha- Who is everyone?!”
“I asked the others, too. They said they don’t remember anything, either. Looks like we’re all on equal footing. Maybe we all got a weird case of amnesia or something. Or it could be group brainwashing, or hypnosis…in any case, I hope we remember soon.”
“Please slow down and explain all of this to me! Or at the very least, could we introduce ourselves, just for some clarity,” Izuku told him.
“Oh, I never told you my name, did I? My name is Rantaro Amami. I promise, I’m not a bad guy. Nice to meet you,” Rantaro told him.
“Nice to meet you, too! I’m Izuku Midoriya!” The two boys shook hands before continuing their conversation.
“Now then, were you taking the UA entrance exam as well?”, Izuku asked.
“I’m sorry, what? I don’t remember trying out for any school before I got kidnapped,” Rantaro responded.
“So you’re not… wait, you said there were others here, right? Where are they?”
“I think they’re all together at the gymnasium at the moment, I think. Now that I found you, that makes sixteen of us total, myself included. Perhaps I can take you there and help you introduce yourself to the others,” Rantaro told him.
“Sixteen? There are only sixteen people here? What? What’s going on here?”
“I think this might be all of us. If this is what I think it is, anyway. But that’s a topic for another time. Right now, we should probably try to figure out what we’re all doing here, and what to do to find an escape from this place,” Rantaro said.
“Yeah, I think you’re right. Lead the way, Rantaro. You seem to clearly know your way around here much better,” Izuku told him. The two boys decided to head off to where the gymnasium was, and hopefully to get some answers about where the hell any of them were.
(PROLOGUE PART 2)
Am… am I dreaming right now? Did I pass out before the UA exam, and is this some kind of weird fever dream? Maybe, Izuku thought. Although everything around him seemed pretty damn real to him. The floor, the school, even Rantaro felt like they were real. So I guess I can scratch that possibility off of my list.
Rantaro led Izuku through the school, and they found what appeared to be the main entrance, except it was locked off by a gigantic vault-like door.
“We might need to come back here later to see if we can find a way to budge this thing open,” Rantaro said. Izuku followed the student around for what seemed like fifteen minutes around the school halls. He noticed there were a few more cameras set in place that were watching over them. Maybe this is some kind of security system to keep track of us. Although I don’t know how it would be too useful, considering we’re in an abandoned school building.
As the boys finally reached the main hall, they spotted the two large doors that led to the gym. “This is the place, all right,” Rantaro said. “Now, I know this is all a bit overwhelming for you, so go ahead and introduce yourself to the others at your own speed, okay?”
Izuku silently nodded. As Rantaro opened the door, Izuku saw something he never expected to see once they got inside of the gym.
The gymnasium was by all means massive, and looked very well budgeted. It had an enormous basketball court and a stage in the background, with green wavy curtains and a strange symbol in the center of the court. Izuku could see that there were about eight people, excluding Rantaro and himself, in the room with him, all surprised by his presence. They definitely did not look like anyone Izuku knew beforehand. Where are the other six then, he wondered, before one of the people started talking.
“Whoa, hey! You found another new kid, Rantaro?”, one of the people said. This one was a boy, probably a year or two older than Izuku. He had thick, dark brown curly hair, and he wore a pair of inventor goggles with blue lenses. He was somewhat overweight, but it added up to give him a pretty bulky figure. He was wearing a blue vest with yellow sleeves and a white undershirt, as well as a leather utility belt he wore across his chest. He had a slightly rough voice when he spoke.
“Yup. Found this guy around the back corner of the school,” Rantaro told him.
“Do you have any idea where we are? Or how did we get here?”, Izuku asked them.
“Nope. All I remember was staying after school and holding a club meeting, but the next thing I know, I find myself here. If we’re including you, that makes about… sixteen of us so far. I don’t know if this is the cutoff point, but I wonder if this is everyone,” a high school girl said, probably a year or two older than Izuku. She had extensively long coral brown-orangish hair, kept in a ponytail tied back with a large white bow, as well as a few long bangs. Her eyes were emerald green, and she had a school uniform with a warm gray blazer, brown sweater vest, white undershirt, a red ribbon, a dark-blue skirt, and black thigh-high socks. She seemed to be quite an attractive and athletic girl, now that Izuku thought about it.
Standing before Izuku were a handful of strangers caught in the same predicament as he was. I looked at all of their faces, taking them in one at a time. Maybe I was imagining it, but I felt some kind of aura coming off from each of them.
“So… how’s it going? My name’s Izuku Midoriya. Sorry I’m late. I was trying to get to school, but then I passed out and I was just… asleep. Then I found myself here of all places,” he said to them.
“Did the same thing happen to you? Weird. I woke up and found myself here, too. One moment I’m following my friend home from school, the next I’m here”, another school girl with grey eyes and long black hair, with two bangs that reached slightly past her shoulders, said.
“This day just keeps getting insaner and insaner…”, another teenage girl said. She had a slender and athletic figure, and for some reason, she was surprisingly tall. She had waist length, long bright pink hair, with straight bangs that covered her forehead. What caught Izuku off guard, though, was the girl’s pair of sharp, red horns on her head, and her unnaturally intense turquoise eyes. Maybe this girl has a quirk or something, Izuku thought. That might explain the horns.
“Tell me about it. This is a strange situation indeed,” the bulky boy with the goggles said.
“Agreed. I honestly have no idea what’s going on right now,” Izuku said.
“I figure you guys could go and introduce yourselves to Izuku here while we get comfortable. It’s better for us to know who we’re staying with, especially in a situation like this,” Rantaro told the others.
“Is this really the time for introductions? I think we should be more focused on getting our asses out of this dump rather than acting all buddy-buddy with each other”, a tall man said. He was in his early thirties, looking very brawny, burly and heavily built. He wore a dark black leather jacket with the words “Lost MC - President” printed on the back, with a symbol of an eagle beneath it. He had hazel eyes, a buzzcut, a horseshoe mustache, and he had plenty of scars across his face, probably earned in plenty of fights over the years. Most notably were the two scars on his right eyebrow and one on his left cheek, as well as his crooked nose, and a tattoo of a demonic face on the right side of his neck.
“Maybe, but it could be beneficial if we find out who we all are before digging into the larger issues at hand. I mean, how are we supposed to work together if we don’t even know who we are?” the pink-haired girl with the horns said.
“She brings up a good point, actually”, the brown-orangish haired girl said.
“Okay. Then let’s get your introductions with him out of the way first, then we can find the others. Say, any of you see where the others went off to?”, Rantaro asked the group.
“I think that blue-haired crazy chick and the lawyer guy went off to do their own thing, but I’m not sure where everyone else went,” the leather-jacket man said.
“Never mind. We’ll catch up with them later,” Rantaro said to him.
I’m still lost, but I think it’s best to focus on getting to know each other for now. So I guess this is as good of a chance as I’m going to get. Time to find out. I’ll start out by talking to those first four over there, Izuku thought. Izuku walked up to the boy with goggles first.
“I’m Izuku Midoriya. Nice to meet you,” he told the boy, reaching out and shaking hands.
“Thanks. Good to… see you, I guess. You can call me Claggor,” the boy said.
“Claggor? Is that, like, your hero name or your regular name?”, Izuku asked him.
“Hero what? What are you talking about? Oh, forget it. Claggor’s just my name,” the boy said.
Izuku: “Oh, sorry! Back where I come from, there are heroes who have quirks and special names that help protect society from villains! I didn’t know if you were familiar with that or not. Anyways, where do you come from?”
Claggor: “I come from the undercity region of Zaun. Lived there since I was a kid. I was a scavenger there with the rest of my friends before I got here.”
Izuku: “Scavenger? What do you mean by that?”
Claggor: “From where I live, it’s a cold world. We had to fight and steal to survive, just to scrape up a few coins. I was lucky I had a group of friends I could count on when times get rough. Though I wonder if they’re worrying about what happened to me.”
Izuku: “Gosh, I’m so sorry to hear about that.”
Claggor: “It’s fine. It is what it is. The undercity has always been hard on us. Especially the enforcers. But hey, I’ve been doing just fine with my friends for now. I wonder how I can find some way to explain all of this to Vander.”
Izuku: “Who’s Vander?”
Claggor: “He’s… kind of like a dad to me. Like a stepdad, to be accurate. Who knows how long we’ll be here for. Let’s hope that there will at least be enough food for us here.”
“Yeah, I second that,” Izuku said. Okay, looks like I introduced myself to Claggor so far. Now, who to talk to next? He didn’t want to talk to the leather jacket guy, mostly because he was intimidating, so he decided to go talk to the brown-orangish haired school girl instead.
Izuku: “Hello! I’m Izuku-”
“Midoriya,” the girl interrupted before he could finish his sentence. “Yeah, I remember. You told the rest of the group when you came in.”
Izuku: “Oh, I did? Well… that makes this kind of awkward.”
“No, not at all! I know first impressions can be a bit nervous,” the school girl told him. “Oh, sorry, where are my manners? I’m Monika Salvato! Nice to meet you!” The way she smiled at him so genuinely felt a little…
“Nice to meet you, too, Monika,” Izuku responded. “S-so anyways, do you remember what you were doing before we all ended up here?”
“Actually, I do. I was having a meeting with the rest of the literature club, and I was trying to organize everything to get ready for the festival. I was in the middle of talking with our club’s members when I passed out, and when I woke up, I found myself here with all of you,” Monika said.
“Literature? Huh. I didn’t think that you’d be interested in that,” Izuku said. Given her very healthy posture, he thought for sure that she would’ve been some kind of athlete or cheerleader.
“Yeah! I’m actually the president of the literature club at my high school! As you can imagine, there’s a LOT of work that goes into managing a club. Finding new members, organizing meetings, preventing your club members from fighting over boys in your group… but I’m up for the challenge,” she said confidently.
“Wow! You’re in charge of a whole club? That sounds amazing! I probably couldn’t organize a whole group of people like that on my own,” Izuku told her.
“Well… to be fair, I have about four other members in my group at the moment. But hey, at least they’re members I know I can rely on! And our most recent member hasn’t even had much interest in literature before, so he’s improving slowly. No one can become an expert overnight,” she said.
“Yeah, I get what you’re saying. No one can become a hero overnight, either. It takes drive, practice and hard work to become skilled at something. That’s why I try to take as many notes about hero tips as possible,” Izuku said.
“Hero notes? You mean, like, a superhero? With superpowers?”
“We call them ‘quirks’, actually. Where I come from, about seventy percent of the world’s population has a quirk, while the other thirty are left quirkless. Unfortunately, I was one of the thirty percent, though,” Izuku said.
“Hmm… that sounds very interesting! I always wondered what society might look like if the majority of the population had superpowers, rather than having only a few individuals having them. Sounds like the plot of a manga MC might enjoy! He’s one of my club members,”, Monika said.
“Well, that’s the world I grew up in. Say, is there anyone else that you recognize? Because I haven’t seen a single other person here I know,” Izuku told her.
“There’s one person that I do recognize. She was in the same literature club I was in. She’s the vice president of the literature club. Her name is Sayori, but I think she might have decided to explore the building some more,” Monika told the boy. “Other than that, I’ve got no clue.”
“I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for her, then. Nice talking to you, Monika. I just got to introduce myself to the others first, that’s all,” he told her, before saying goodbye and moving on. Once he was done talking, Izuku decided to speak to the girl with the horns next. She seemed certainly better than talking to the leather-jacket biker, that was for sure. The horned girl looked at him with a somewhat bored expression.
“I don’t think I recognize you,” the pink haired girl said. Her attire consisted of a red military outfit, black leggings, and white boots. “Although, I can’t help but feel like you remind me of someone. My official codename is 002, but if you want, you can call me Zero Two for short.”
Izuku: “Oh… you have a codename? What’s that for?”
Zero Two: “It’s my Parasite code number. I don’t see what’s so shocking about it. Every other parasite cadet I know has a number code, too. Then again, do we Parasites even have names to begin with? Honestly, I often didn’t bother choosing a different nickname. In the end, our purpose is to fight and die, regardless of our fate.”
Izuku: “You’re a what now? A Parasite? Are you, like, a soldier or something?”
Zero Two: “You… could say that, I suppose. I can see you’re not familiar with the concept. You wouldn’t happen to have grown up on another plantation, would you? Or any recollection of piloting a FranXX mech?”
Izuku: “Plantation? I’m pretty sure this isn’t the 1700s, but no. I grew up with my mother. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Zero Two looked at the boy, confused. “What’s a ‘mother’? Is that an APE figure that watches over your plantation group? Someone like Papa?”
“Uh, no. She just raised me. You seriously don’t know what a mother is? Who raised you, then?”, Izuku asked.
“I was raised by APE. Same as all the other synthetic parasites. The squads grow up in the Garden and prepare to learn how to pilot the FranXX through tons of drills and tests until they’re fourteen. It’s our job to defend the plantations and the adults from… ongoing attacks,” Zero Two said, trying to avoid bringing up that topic, “and we do that by piloting the FranXX mechs. Two pilots, one male, one female for each one.”
Izuku had no idea how to react to any of this. It’s like she’s a character from some kind of science fiction dystopia, he thought. “That… sounds a lot like Evangelion, for some reason. Say, where exactly do you come from?”
Zero Two: “That’s a bit difficult to explain. Next question, please.”
Izuku: “Oh, okay. Hey, if you’re Zero Two, then… is there a Zero One as well?”
Zero Two looked at him with a very aggressive predatory glance. “We don’t talk about Zero One. Do you understand?”
Izuku got nervous looking at her angry glare. “Okay, I’m sorry! It’s just that I’ve never heard of someone having a number for their name, much less an entire group of people having them. I’m having a lot of trouble computing all of this at once.”
Her angry glare was quickly replaced by a kind and carefree expression. “It’s the only other name I was given. Not like APE would’ve given us actual names if it weren’t for ourselves. But I would prefer it if you referred to me as Zero Two from now on. He-he-he-he…”
The smile she gave him felt very sweet, yet still felt somewhat deceptive. I’d better watch myself around her, Izuku thought. I don’t know what she’s been through, but I certainly won’t find out completely until later. He decided to back away from Zero Two for the moment and look around at the other people. Let’s see, who should I talk to next?
“So, you’re the new kid Rantaro dragged in here?”, a deep male voice said from behind. Izuku looked behind and saw the massive leather jacket man towering over him with his arms crossed. The boy jumped back at the unexpected sight of the man.
“Oh, uh, me?! Yup, that’s me! Izuku Midoriya!”, the boy told him anxiously. He was kind of nervous because of how menacing the biker man looked.
“Jeez, you’re a jumpy one, ain’t you?”
“My apologies! I was acting scared by habit!”, Izuku told him.
“Relax, kid, I ain’t got no quarrel with you. I get that reaction from people often. Don’t take it personally, kid. We can’t have anyone thinking the Lost are a bunch of pussies, you know” the biker told him. “The name’s Johnny Klebitz. Pleased to fucking meetcha.”
“Oh. Thanks for understanding, sir.”
“Say, how old are you, kid? You look like you’re not even old enough to vote yet,” Johnny said with a chuckle.
Izuku: “I’m in high school currently, sir. Some of the people I’ve spoken to so far seem to be around closer to my age.”
“Yeah, I noticed that, too”, Johnny told him. “Looks like I’m one of the few adults around here while the majority seems to be mostly teenagers. I didn’t sign up to be a fucking babysitter of all things.”
“That definitely sounds strange, now that you mention it,” Izuku replied. If most of the people here are teenagers, then why was someone like Johnny here with them? Another question I’ll have to figure out another time, I suppose. “Wait, what’s the Lost?”
Johnny cracked his knuckles before talking. “The Lost Motorcycle Club. It’s an outlaw biker gang across the East and Midwestern parts of the US. I’m the president of our chapter down in Acter, Alderney. Although I wished it was under better circumstances.”
“I could sort of get that vibe from the way you’re dressed. What happened?”, Izuku asked.
“Our old leader got arrested and sent to rehab while I had to do the shit-shoveling for him and look out for the Lost. Up until then, we were fine. But then he gets the smartass idea of triggering a gang war with the fucking Angels of Death and the Triads! THAT’S when shit hit the fan. I’d doubt you are interested in joining, kid. You don’t seem like the ‘biker lifestyle’ would suit you,” Johnny said. Izuku could tell that he was undoubtedly pissed off right now.
“Listen kid, I’m gonna go search around and see if there’s anything useful around here. Maybe a workout room or something. Catch you later,” Johnny said, before heading out of the gym to explore some more. He was surprisingly much less hostile to me than I expected, Izuku thought. I guess he’s more polite than I pictured him to be.
