Black was the only color to use in the Miiverse drawings. You had to get creative with your drawings by using shading, different drawing texture techniques, etc. I had fun drawing Chunky Kong. I'm gonna be posting this on DA as well. 
Gosh, I miss Miiverse. 
It was really cool that you could share your own personal gaming journal with screenshots or drawings with other people online. Sometimes, people would share tips and tricks with each other. Of course, there were the memes. Both good and bad.
What was also cool is that the creators of the video games would interact with the Miiverse community by either asking questions or gave players a challenge to try out in video games. Or that they would do a type of interview that talks about the process of making said games.
Sometime, I need to go back and play DK64 again. 
I never finished it. The last level I stopped at was Creepy Castle.
One the things that I liked about DK64 was the DK Rap at the beginning of the game.
