The Judge: Umbra
Umbra isn't your typical Sans variant. Standing at 1.85m in a structured black coat, he has long since abandoned jokes for a glass of "The Smoky Goat" and a constant stream of cigar smoke. He is cynical, irritable, and—to put it bluntly—a bit of a bitch. He doesn't want to save the world; he just wants to break your will to Reset.
Signature Move: The Final Eclipse. The world dissolves into a void where only his glowing red eye remains.
The Look: Sharp, polygonal skull features and a dark red diamond eye-light that burns with pure spite.
The Shadow: The Apparition
Umbra is never truly alone. Bound to him by a spiritual "Seal" is The Apparition, a flickering, 2.01m tall shadow of Papyrus.
The Internal Dialogue: Only Umbra can hear the Apparition's whispers. This constant, haunting commentary is exactly why Umbra is so snappy—he’s fighting a war in his own head while he fights you.
The Behavior: If you see Umbra muttering to the air or staring at nothing, know that the shadow is speaking.
The Variants: UmbraFell vs. Anarchy's Canvas
I've updated the sprites to show the progression of his story:
UmbraFell (Burning Red): The original state. His eye-light is a layered, glowing red, representing his individual spite and judgment.
Anarchy’s Canvas (Scarred Yellow): A darker turn. Here, Umbra and The Apparition have fused. The yellow eye isn't just a power-up; it’s a physical scar of their forced bond. He is more powerful, but at the cost of what was left of his identity.
