So, I just wanna say this and get this out of the way, this fella here has two forms. Classic sonic, and American sonic. The American sonic is his true form, while the classic design is only just him hiding himself (which is why in the end of the game, he turns into American sonic.)

And his expressions can change into quite odd and disforming looks. Considering he's only just an A.I and not really any..flesh or any sorts. He can just morph and look into whatever basically.
