Hi there!
This is my third year participating in Adventure Jam 2018 and coincidentally it’s the 25th anniversary of Myst games… is the destiny? :D
For this year in the jam I want to make my own tribute to the saga. As a big fan of Myst games I think it’s a dream that I’ve always had but never dared to do… now I’m going to try it in 14 days! It’s crazy! xDD
Well, I started working on this project a few weeks before the jam will start, creating the story, locations, sketching… everything related with the design.
Now it’s been 4 days since the jam started and right now I’m working on the first level (Destiny Island), but there’s still a lot to do. I will try to share the progress but I can’t promise anythign… the time is the boss!
But I’m not alone, my friend and composer Python Blue is helping me with music (thank youuu!) and he is making a gorgeous work, very soon I will share some themes so that you can judge them yourselves.
For now, here are some images (WIP) of the creative process, remember that this is a jam (14 days) and the game is being developed only by one person so it’s possible that some things can change, nothing is definitive:

3D models: some created with 3D MAX others are from my 3D library
Textures are made with Photshop and Quixel Suite
I’m using a special asset from Unity store for mechanics, menu, UI… (my programming skills are very poor)
