Update 0.4.0 is out! Well, technically 0.4.1 is out. We don't talk about 0.4.0
It adds 2 major updates, along with some bug fixes:
Firstly, I have added Sacrifice events! In these, you get to choose one of any of your units to give to a faction. They have 3 things they can give you in return, and their quantity/quality is determined by how good the unit you sacrificed is;
Coins
Their own soldiers
Weakening future enemies
Secondly, I have added some proper models, as you can see in the attached photos. I have added 4 models each with their own weapon. Please not that their weapon name may not correlate with the weapon they are holding:
Sword model, for short range units
Pikeman model, for medium ranged units
Archer model, for long range units
Infected model, for the infected
Lastly, I also fixed the bug where some units randomly wouldn't reset. I'm still not sure exactly why it was happening, but I am pretty sure it correlated to when a unit would die or rebel while being reset. I did a simple fix with a buffer in the function. Basically, it takes a second to actually reset after being told too, in case they would die/rebel.
Also, here are all the abilities and what they do, because I have yet to add their definitions into the game or store page.
Flying - Removes all movement debuffs
Thorns - When attacked, the attacker takes 1 damage
Giant Thorns - When attacked, the attacker takes 5 damage
Decay - A character with this ability will lose 1 health each turn
Rapid Decay - A character with this ability will lose 5 health each turn
Expert Strike - This characters attack will decrease max health as well as normal health
Venomous - This character will apply Permanent Decay on attack
Frail - A character with this ability will take double damage on attacks
Infected - When this character dies, it turns into a infected
Infectious - Applies infected onto any character it attacks
Rebellious - 1/5 chance this character joins faction 3 at reset, if not an infected
Second Chance - On fatal damage, revive back to half of max HP and lose this ability for the battle
