199X XX XX

The forums are all talking about the rising star of the science community.
Apparently some 18 year old with a strange fashion sense conducted an experiment on energy conversion for about 2000 times. Now, normally I won't waste precious computer memory on that, there are enough science crackheads who work 25 hours a day and young woman with very strange fashion senses (A cape? In 199X?!)
So why did I record this?
Some of the data from the repeated experiments show a percentage increase in the closed system's total energy. Not consistent enough to instantly prove things, but not random enough to be an error.
That girl instantly stuck to her hypothesis that magic exists in this world, but most people are understandably skeptical of it.
They're afraid of change. A conclusion so far fetched, if proven right will change not just the axioms of science, but how we perceive our very reality.
