You've might be wondering who's talking. Well... UTIA has gained a new team member, me! I'm Light, and I'll be working as a spriter, and writer!
Ehem... let's get the actual devlog started, shall we?

First of all, the playable characters will now have diagonal sprites! (very EarthBound)
You can see how it would look in the new Saturn's spritesheet!
By the way, what about the first location? Is it still the Emo Ruins? Well, no! It was reworked! Now, the new location has no connection to the Ruins (even though it has some similarities). This new first location is called the "Jail Chambers".
You've fallen into the Ebbot river and lost consciousness, and the second you wake up, you see yourself in a cold, dark prison cell... What'll happen next? Hmm...
Next, since the last devlog, we've created ~30 NPCs and enemies already! We'd like to show you some of them.

INTRODUCING! Rubbxh, a rubik's cube enemy that likes to party!
Though, his best days are probably over. Almost nobody ever notices him, but when they do, they always think that he's weird and strange... And now, he roams the dark parts of the underground, trying to linger onto the past...

Harshie, a raccoon NPC that works as a janitor in this scary place!
He doesn't really like cleaning, but he gets to keep all the trash that he can find, so it's a Win-Win situation!
We'd also like to share with you a new gameplay mechanic:

INTRODUCING! Elements! Every enemy and party member has its own element - a different type of damage. They work like you'd expect them to. Some elements are weak to others, and vice-versa. You can counter elements by your party's SKILLS and different types of ARMOR!
Some enemies might use Physical attacks instead of elemental ones, and it can be countered by DEFENSE stat, like in regular RPGs.
In short, everything is doing great! We now have an actual outline of the events of the whole game! You can expect more devlogs, because we've been making progress faster, since 2 people are now working on the game, duh.

Buh-bye! See you next time!
