Deltarune chapter 3 and 4 released. Brought new content we had been waiting for years of waiting.

Honestly, the new content is cool. Alot of crazy stuff worth mentioning.

Now that being said, I've been finding something really weird... That is, Deltarune fandom is kinda overhyped about the new content.

Seriously, I'm not a hater of Deltarune and I'll say that in advance. But I honestly see the fandom that way, especially when it comes to weird route.

On Youtube, I watched a video about the "talk" with Noelle in weird route. It's kinda messed up, truly. But what I find kinda strange is that people get way too crazy about it, as if this is the most horrifying thing they've seen.

In weird route, there's also an option in dark world where you can think about Noelle. When you do, you see the little red dot, then you see Noelle saying "Thank you" in a disturbingly slow manner. It's hard grasp too, I know. But I literally see people writing essays over essays on it. I know it's cool but it's not even that big and hyping.

And one part I really find stupid to be scared of, is the part where Susie asks about Noelle and things go slightly red, with the soul in the dialogue box with no dialogues in there to say. I personally don't find it that disturbing, more like a "cool, slightly unsettling detail". Yet i find some people acting as if this is the darkest thing ever.

Gonna be honest about weird route we got this time too... It felt really short, compared to the weird route in chapter 2. Chapter 2 weird route has honestly been the best and actually hyping for how much it got. Chapter 4, though, it felt pretty short and didn't have much stuff in there. I can safely say I'm kinda disappointed, but I feel like it was intentional to keep the length of it small, the way weird routes are probably meant to be.

And it's kinda becoming a thing that youtubers are saying crazy stuff in Youtube about Deltarune (not theories, about how Deltarune is the "best" in some terms or something), though it's probably content farming.

I also find it kinda not relatable that people think Toby Fox made weird route such that makes us feel like a bad person. Honestly, that's not the case with me, I'd play the weird route without really feeling too bad because I'm aware it's not real, atleast that's the case for now. And if there's still, ever been a game that actually made me feel conflicted about taking the "bad" side or not, it's OFF, and it's because it literally DIRECTLY called me out for what I did.

In short, it feels to me as if waiting for new chapters made Deltarune fandom so content dried that even a small bit of content makes them overjoyed. It's either that or OMORI made me so numb emotionally that anything Deltarune brings wouldn't feel that big of a deal... Let's see what happens in future...
