recently, a new policy is being rolled out where active developers are going to have to answer a maturity questionnaire for games that are “unrated” (maturity: unknown - ages 13+). if these developers do NOT go through with this questionnaire, the game will be basically unplayable.

games with inactive creators with over 1k visits are able to be preserved. (via)

the problem is, chickenengineer (creator of monster madness survival) is semi-active, due to his maintaining of dinosaur simulator/dinosaur arcade. these two games have been updated countless times, unlike mms. mms hasn’t gotten a proper update since 2020.

along with this, monster madness survival’s maturity rating is UNKNOWN, meaning it has the risk of being fully unplayable.

”but annie, didn’t you say games with over 1k visits will be preserved? mms has over 12 million visits!” yes. the problem is chickenengineer is SEMI-ACTIVE. this means that he’s technically an active creator.

another issue is that both dinosaur simulator AND dinosaur arcade already have ratings (both being mild). mms does NOT.

i really. REALLY don’t want this game to be taken down. please boost either this post or the ones i’ve posted on twitter and tumblr.
