So, I've been on Gamejolt since 2021 and I saw everything that happened since then... The good, the bad, the good news, the bad news, the dramas, etc.

I'm also trans (specifically Bigender!) for those unaware, which has led me to get some... special kind of comments, the ones where people wish death upon me and what not.

I've tried to deal with it since then, not paying much attention to them and simply deleting them. the thing is that, what happened these past few days with the troll group made me realize that I shouldn't let this be the norm.

Even after they've been gone I still get hate comments, which I absolutely respect if you don't like my art, but one thing is disliking my art, another one is hating on myself and friends/close family because of who I am.

I just cannot deal with the same thing every single time.

So, going forward, comments will only be open to friends on GameJolt/No one, depending in a piece to piece basis. I didn't want to do this but honestly I've had enough. Shouts will remain closed down too.

I only add as friends people that I already know, so its very likely I won't accept every friend request I receive, like it has already been happening before.

I want to keep posting on GameJolt because I love the site, it has so many cool things going on, but I gotta put my limits too, before I end up hating it.
