Characters:
From what I can recall, the planned characters were:
Oswald
Fanny Cottontail
Dippy Dawg
Bootleg Pete (specifically the Alice Comedies version of him)
Plane Crazy Mickey
Julius the Cat
Willie
and I think either Horace or older iterations of Donald
(Keep in mind, Oswald is (I believe) the only vector made for this game, no other character was designed for this, and the vector is basically lost media, as Mr_90 (who was the creator of Oswald's vector) has gone through so many computers that it's basically lost to time itself, there was also a paint3d map layout for this game, and take a WILD guess what happened to that)
Mechanics:
To be frank, I completely forgot what this game's mechanics were, all I can remember was that there was a camera system
If I were to ever redo this game (like that'd ever happen), I'd like to put in a radio mechanic, where some characters like specific radio stations, and others like it turned off
New opinion on this old, unfinished game
I'm just gonna get it out of the way whilst it's still relevant: this game obviously was a product of its time, I was WAY too eager when it came to making FNaTI, let alone FNaF-based projects; obviously seen with 3 game pages in a very short time span where the most they EVER got to were just discord chats, VCs, and 1 - 3-4 1/2 dated vectors. The story in this game, while as not genuinely batshit insane as To The Depths was, The Gruesome Past still wasn't the most thought out, Oswald (the main character of this game) doesn't make sense in both how he'd even be in the studio, as well as the game's time frame (1998) (probably the same situation as 1.0 FNaTIwhere Disney canonically never lost Oswald's rights), but hey, it was a relic of its time either way.
Would I consider remaking this?
I'm not gonna say no... but at the same rate, I'm not gonna say yes, and I'm not trying to tease anything nor give hints, unless I were to have a competent dev team (mainly a coder), and a better approach to this game, I might, but right now, it's still gonna be as dead as it was the last time I made this game page.
But thanks for at least going through this and understanding where I'm coming from with this. Hope to see y'all around soon enough (I'll probably make a post about To The Depths after this one, but I'll give you guys a minute or two to read this one first)
