Game
Five Nights at Freddy's: Midnight Mayhem - Prologue
5 years ago

Heya folks, thanks for sticking around.

I've been hard at work on this reboot, to the point where a demo is almost ready! (I know, I've told a few people that it was almost ready a few months ago, but this time I'm sure.)

I should definitely go over the changes from the Proof of Concept build to this build, so let's go over that.

  • The combat system has received a huge overhaul.

Attacks are much less confusing, (The Stare command has been reverted to the basic melee skill and has had its MP cost removed.)

TP has been removed due to the issue with healing skills not being able to be used outside of combat.

Some skills have been either modified or removed completely. (Mostly the former.) I've now also ditched the format of 4 main skills and 4 Special skills, now going with whatever I can manage to add. (Way too many placeholders in the Proof of Concept build, we're getting rid of those.)

  • Mangle is no longer completely useless, making a 180 to just about the strongest character in the game! All of her skills make him an extremely deadly threat to enemies.

  • Gameplay changed to almost chapter-like, with the player controlling one gang of animatronics at a time as they make their way through different areas. This may change later down the road, with either all the gangs meeting up or getting mixed up to provide interesting party experiences.

  • Multiple new areas to explore within "Fazbear's Funland," consisting of different branches in the establishment.

  • Springtrap is now playable and no longer the main villain. ;)

  • Added different types of weapons, inflicting different status effects on enemies.

Again, thanks for sticking with this project, folks! I greatly appreciate each and every one of you and hope to bring you more content soon!
