Howdy!
Fourth game! I couldn’t make them all before the end of the year because I left most of the files I needed on my PC and forgot to send them to my laptop. Anyway, here’s The God of Sandbox’s Adventure, a not-so-little game I made in Construct 2 back in 2016. I didn’t have a specific goal or deadline. I was just experimenting with the engine and was inspired by Scribblenauts to create some cool puzzles.

Step into a world where you play as a god who loves helping others and solving quirky puzzles.
Use your imagination to manipulate elements, build structures, and get creative with solutions! Freeze water with ice, turn it into obsidian with lava, or build with wood and metal, but be careful not to burn or crush your creations!
This time, I had already worked with Construct 2 before, so I wanted to explore its possibilities further. A big, random puzzle game seemed like the perfect fit.

The graphics were created by drawing on paper, scanning the designs, and digitally adding color. I love how wacky some of the scenarios turned out. For example:
Saving a penguin from bullies (yes, by opening the head of teenage penguins, full brain out with blood and all).
Making purée for a crying baby by smashing fruits.
Helping a weird creature escape a lab full of traps.
Each level screams, "I don’t know what I’m doing, but I find this funny" or "I just wanted to test this feature of the physics engine."
The game admittedly lacks game feel or a sense of progression, as every level is its own standalone experience. And yes, the title? Not great. I’m not the best at naming things.
Still, this was so much fun to make, and for a brief moment, I truly felt like the god of sandboxes bringing this chaotic world to life.
