Did we mention we already started translating the project? It’s a slow process but it’s on its way. Needless to say, it required adding a new person to the wheel, explaining everything to them and checking file by file that they didn’t delete any of the logic by mistake. You already know we’re a small team, so we fit these new tasks in our already-busy schedule. It’s quite demanding.
Regarding updates, we’ve been doing them since pre-production started. That’s like three years ago, we’re talking about 60.000 words of “here’s what we’ve been doing this week”. In a few months, we’ll be planning more shows, doing intensive testing and we’ll even release a private early version (which was a Kickstarter reward for some high tiers). And the game will be out eventually (not confirming any dates though) so the weight will slowly move towards you, the community. It won’t be next month, but it’s getting close. We’ll fix bugs, run the forums and support it in every possible way (like partnering with Curse to feature a dedicated wiki). But when a game is finally out, it stops being owned just by the developers.
We’ve already published 70 updates, we want to hear what you have to say. Have any questions about the game? Do you want us to expand the information we gave away on some update? How do you picture the game in your mind? What are you curious about? What do you want to know about its development? Now it’s the perfect time to speak up. We want to start building stronger ties with the community, so the next updates will be based on your feedback. Help us understand your expectations and how to build a better environment for that moment when the game is out and you start sharing your stories all around.
We’ll keep posting updates here every few weeks. Sometimes we miss some comments with all those notifications, but we’re always around our Discord, so be sure to join that and hang out with the whole development team.
