When I first played Persona 4 Golden I was 12, obviously over the span of about a year a lot can change, Innitially my romance option was FUCKING CHIE. I don't quite remember why, I think it was just because she was kinda silly and I didn't really like Yosuke at the time for whatever reason, along with the fact that she has a cool jacket.

Now I realize that she has an annoying personality, annoying voice, and is just a fucking asshole. In one of the first scenes in the game Yosuke (who is a minimum wage retail worker) accidently broke Chie's DVD that he was borrowing, when he brought it back he bowed down, apolgized, and said (and I quote) "Please have mercy until my next paycheck!" implying that the broken DVD would be replaced by him in less than a week. How does Chie react? By KICKING HIM IN THE BALLS. Sure, it's kinda funny the first time around, but then you think about it more and its like "wow thats a shitty thing to do."

Chie doesn't have to deal with SHITE compared to Yosuke, hes hassled by his co-workers, and in his mind nobody is nice to him with the exception of Saki, who DIES IMMEDEATLY.
