If you have noticed, yeah, all posts from the game page have been deleted, and if you've also (maybe) perhaps noticed, all the videos and community posts related to and are mentioning Animal Entertainment and FNAI, are all gone. You may be asking, what's going on? Is the game getting cancelled and called off? The answer is no, but I am going to tell everything, and tell the future of Animal Entertainment, so let's all sit down, and have a chat.
I began the project on September, 2023, what began was a simple title screen, and nothing else, for a bit of a long time, nothing had been changing, and slight progress had been being made, but overtime, longly after, a first demo would come out, having only one night, then the second, only having two nights, and the third one, having three nights, and that was about all the demos before we began focusing on the entire full game, while yes, progress is slow, and me and the team do our best to do more, but... There's a lot of things that began bothering me, about the future of Animal Entertainment, including my own future, and the future of my team.
I'm going to tell you all the truth... I can't code. I have never learned to code over the past years, and I completely sucked at it, while yes, I did managed to make a menu, which wasn't that much complicated, but when it comes to full on gameplay, animatronics' AIs and movements, and such, then I just don't know how to do it, and this is why I applied @GekoGamesAndCreations and @Evil_beanos
to help me out on the project, and I relied EVERYTHING on them. Geko did the entire gameplay, and Beanos did the AIs, and me? All I did, was just to direct the game and the story.
I know, many are going to ask, why can't you just try to code? Believe me, I did tried, and when I tried to look into it and study it, I was immediately confused, not knowing a single thing, but all I could do, is to do the menu, which I did make back in 2023, and Geko updated it sometime later.
Originally, Animal Entertainment Series would have ten games, but due to how there had been a huge amount of games, and we just wouldn't mak everything in time in the future, I then changed the amount to five, leaving Five Nights At Isabell's, The Past Events, The '87 Event, Five Nights At Isabell's: Insanity (It was actually FNAI Chapter 2, but it remained the same, just the title change), and a final game, that had been entirely different, called Animal Entertainment: Victim Requiem.
All these games were planned to make the Series more bigger, and make it into an entire Series, but now... Thinking about the future of the Series, I realized, that Beanos and Geko won't be able to work for me forever... Because they have their own things that they are passionate about, and would want to work on thier things, instead of helping me on my own project, that isn't entirely nessessary, and sometimes, people like me need to learn on their own, and overtime, they'd do better.
But do I actually see a bright future on my game development? No, I do not, if I can't code, and not learn game development, it isn't my passion, and I won't succeed on it, no matter how I try to learn, because I won't be able to, and now you may ask, what is gonna happen to FNAI and Animal Entertainment? Is it gonna be entirely cancelled for good? No, it's not, while FNAI IS gonna stay, I won't be increasing the games anymore, now, FNAI is gonna become a single game, with a shorter story, and I'm also going to rewrite the story, and turn it shorter, including the game as well, so the game is gonna have only five nights now, not including the Shop, Night 6, Extras, and etc. And I am gonna keeping only the main four animatronics, and there isn't going to be more enemies now, removing Penny the Purple Owl animatronic, which yeah, that character would appear on Night 5, and it may be getting removed in the full release (and I also DEEPLY apologize to the actor @ixsapphire_ for wasting her time on the game over lines for Penny...), and for all other lines that have been recorded by @SturgillQueen
(that voice Izzy and Kumu, Kalie's Izzy laughs are gonna stay though for the gameplay, and Kalie may be still credited for her laughing as Isabell), Beanos (that also voiced Joey), @MiloTFH3147
(That voiced the Employee on Night 0, Which yes, there would've been a Night 0 in the original), @RenanTheFangamePlayer
(That would voice himself as a shop animatronic character in the original game), and @AntowWolfHusky
(Who would've voiced Vincent, the original main antagonist of the series), I am also deeply sorry for your lines getting possibly removed because of all that's happening, I'm deeply sorry for wasting your times...
As for me? I apologize. For everything. I have never felt so ashamed of myself, and I should've known better. I really do wish I could've gotten better at coding myself, and make everything easier for myself, and maybe in the future, ACTUALLY manage to make the entire Series, but I guess... It ain't destined to happen.
With this weight on my chest I'll unfortunately have to carry, I am putting the game on Hiatus until 2026, OR, until I absolutely feel like going back to it. And from now on, I'm handling things in a more maturely way, and take more responsibilty.
See you guys on the other side, and I'm sorry.
