They haven't given her to hospice yet because they wanted to make sure it was like a last resort and that everyone was ok with it, surprising. They're about to transfer her to hospice however.

So..she's in bad shape. Reminds me very vividly of my mom, the way she's laying over there on the bed. It looks exactly the same, in a way, minus the awful tumor that tore my moms face apart.

She opens her eyes and is capable of slight bodily movement such as twitching

They took the tubes out of her throat now as well.

I don't know what state of consciousness she's in, but I think and hope she heard us talking to her. i'm pretty sure she did.

I stayed by her side crying for a while aaand now my eyes hurt and I'm hungry. doesn't help they keep playing restaurant commercials on this TV like please i cant have ihop right now stop that

They're getting her ready to transfer care as im typing this, and we're supposed to meet my grandpa at the funeral home tomorrow to kinda assess things there i suppose

She's gonna be taken to the same funeral home that my mom and uncle were taken to (as well as my close friend @TeamCallie ) so i hope things go well there.

And, on another note, I suppose I jumped to a bit of conclusions earlier. my grandfather does care about her situation just I suppose he didn't really get to do much a few days ago?? but he's here now

and i at least have respect for him still and I'm sorry for him. I know this isn't a great situation for anyone to deal with despite their own personal feelings with the other person so yeah

now to random and boring stuff that happened while I'm here:

mention for my cool family member

he asked if I had hobbies. he let me rant about megaman to him. and I even got to do a mini rant about how I got mm3, and protoman, and a little bit about chaud and laika. i am desperate to rant about this topic for hours and i definitely got way too excited explaining megaman battle network as a whole but I was successfully able to stop myself (i am afraid of ranting too much)

how much have I changed I haven't seen him in years i imagine he's never seen me express this much emotion for anything
