FUN FACTS TIME!

there's an unposted version of that second drawing - one that came before the publicized version! I had to re-draw it since as it was it would not fit with the general image of that moment in the story. but before that the original drawing also was based off of another thing, that was integrated into the story by my own silly will; the simple fact that protoman is a table lover. that's why he jumps to sit on the table in front of chaud - not only because it got his full immediate attention, but also because that's just how proto is. and in the fanfiction I wrote, he mentions something along the lines of "always take advantage of your tables. they can even be a bed if you really want them to be." he dramatically lays on tables. yes. he's also usually a huge showoff when he does so. he claims he's eye candy- i'm.. not going to speak further until asked

anyway now, in the re-drawn version of the second art piece he's not laying on a table, vio! yeah- that's because in the setting of that moment (a restaurant) it would have been kind of inappropriate of a time even though they're in a private reserved room. once again there's another reference to this and also the fact i had to last-minute remake an already finished drawing in the fanfiction. proto mentions something about his entrance back in there not being how it usually would have been / how he would have preferred.
