So I’ve come to the realization that I am Aroace and Non Binary. It’s how I understand my identity and also how I experience it. I found any sort of attraction that I felt towards anyone was solely based on aesthetics and I decided to do a little research because I didn’t really feel like that was ok. If I ever thought someone was attractive I would have to really sit down and ask myself hey are you OK with the relationship and the things that go along with it and I would say no I just wanna platonic friend. I don’t dislike love or romance (I read Edgar Allan Poe, love queer romance in TV and Books) but I just personally feel disconnected from it.
