We've heard the recent Unity news; we didn't read all that, but we're happy for them. Or sorry for their loss.
Anyway, we are still sticking to our plans on switching to Unreal Engine. Completely dead set on this now.

While we haven't been doing much as of late, but we do have some tools being made (and still working on them) that can help get this thing going faster in the future.
