Hello, this is the director of Vansinne and Metamorphosis: A TRTF Story. In this post I will be talking about the game's hiatus. There are many reasons I could write about why the game is on hiatus, but I want to try keeping it simple. 

When Metamorphosis first began development, I was in a different position. Ever since the game has started development, and has been announced, a lot has happened in my life. After I announced the page, my home life drastically changed, and that took time to adjust to. On top of my home life being different, my current job gives me less time to work on the game as much as before.

Honestly, something I regret doing is putting the page up as early in development as I did. I believed it was a good idea, and I'm really proud of how the page exploded when I put the page up. Despite everything, I really wish more progress on the game was done for the people following the project. I'm also kind of a perfectionist, and my vision for the games story and art direction is also constantly changing, and sometimes I feel like changing so much about the project I already established, even though I know I shouldn't. I just need more time to think about everything regarding this project, because sometimes it feels like I have everything planned out, and sometimes I don't feel satisfied with anything.

The current scale of the project is also very large. I like coming up with ambitious ideas, but it's difficult when the first game I'm trying to publish under this team is as big as it is. There are other things I could go through as well, but they are not as large as the things I just mentioned.

What does this mean for Vansinne? Well, Vansinne as a whole is not on hiatus. There are other projects under our team I'll help out with if I need to. I just don't have the time to work on this project as actively as I used to.

This does not mean the game is cancelled. I will release something as a tribute to the TRTF community, since this community means a lot to me. I just need more time perfecting what that thing is. I do believe once I figure everything out, the game will be back in development.
