Highscores and Trophies? I think so!


While this game was created for the Ludum Dare competition last month, I really would like to implement the highscoring system and trophies into my game “Barren Universe”. If you play it you’ll see why, and no, this is not just a shameless plug, I’m genuinely serious!

Also, in the following weeks, I’ll be vastly improving the gameplay - Most people don’t know how large they have to be to collect certain items, and a lot don’t know their way around maps. Obviously with Ludum Dare you only have 48 hours to create the game from scratch so getting the right balance is very difficult, but now that I have more freedom around what I do with the game it’s only going to get better.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
