The lost brother

Chapter 1:

Meanwhile with the cupbros fighting the Devil himself…the fight was going very well but Cuphead noticed the Devil went for Mugman.

“Mugman!” Cried Cuphead

As Mugman was about to react to Cuphead’s cries he was unconscious…

Cuphead was defensless, but suddenly had a stupid idea to hopefully save his brother…

“Stop!” Cuphead shouted at the Devil holding Mugman’s soul in his position.

“I’ll make a deal with you…” said defenselessly

The Devil waited what he has to say

“If I gave you MY soul please spare my brother…” Cuphead said with a sad tone

The Devil responded quite surprised by Cuphead’s offer

“Perhaps I could spare that little mug he’s nearly USELESS anyway…” The Devil scoffed in a angered voice

“So..we have a deal?…” Cuphead asked

“Fine…” said the Devil

Chapter 2: Recovery

Mugman woke up in a hospital all dizzy and confused.

“Where…am I?” Said Mugman really confused covered with bandages

He attempt to get outta bed but realized he couldn’t walk

“Ow ow…maybe I shouldn’t get outta bed this early…” Mugman said to himself

He asked himself “where is Cuphead? Is he okay? Gosh I hope he is alright…”

Mugman lay back down to bed just wishing and hoping his brother is okay..

[HOURS LATER…]

Mugman sat up and looked at the time. “10pm..? Golly..I…don’t just wanna sit and wait for Cuphead to come back…he might be in danger…” said to himself in a panic

Mugman without thinking gets out of bed ignoring the pain he is in right now.

As Mugman got up and went to find Cuphead he realized it was getting dark and had to find him as quick as he could.

“Shoot!..its nighttime already??! I gotta find him now! This is not good…” Mugman exclaimed to himself in a hurry

[MINUTES PAST…]

As Mugman looked around he swore he saw somebody right in front of him and before he could say anything the odd shadowy figure ran off.

“Huh…that’s…strange…I wonder who that could be..oh well..” as Mugman nodded in disbelief

He continued walking until he remembered the last location he could think of “The Devil’s Casino”. As he entered it was empty like it was abandoned..

“Hello?…” said Mugman trying to get a response but no answer

“Hello??… anybody here?…” Mugman asked in a scared tone

“Gosh what happened here..? Where’s Cuphead?…he got to be here SOMEwhere…” he said to himself

A shadowy figure came out the dark corner. “Looking for someone ya mug?” The unknown figure asked

“King Dice?!..” Mugman exclaimed in shock

“Shut up will you? This place is closed ya know…” said Dice in a annoyed tone

“Golly I uh…I’m sorry Dice but I’m looking for my brother…have you seen him?…” Mugman asked King Dice in a horrified way

“Yes I have…” Dice answered

“Really? Where?…” Mugman asked

King Dice looked at Mugman for a solid 2 minutes for a response.

“Your not gonna like the answer Mug…its not important “where he is…all you need to know that he’s…” King Dice paused himself before finishing his sentence

“Corrupted?…” Mugman asked in disbelief

King Dice nodded a “yes”

Mugman looked like he was about to cry as he was about to King Dice picked Mugman up and walked him home.

“Your too weak to even fight him for as I know…its best to rest up and don’t worry too much about him…he’ll hurt you even if your his brother…” King Dice said to Mugman

“I…mm….okay mister Dice…” Mugman said almost in the weakest voice possible almost sounded like he couldn’t talk…

Chapter 3: Reunion

As Mugman rest and King Dice sat down from their previous fight he couldn’t help but think “was helping this mug even worth it?” he nod his head trying to ignore the thought

[LATER…]

A sudden knock startled King Dice

“Jesus—“ said King Dice in a startle

“Who could be here at this hour?” He asked himself

As he answered the door it was…Cuphead? But looked corrupted and brutally beaten.

“Well at least one mug will be happy to see you again…but not in this condition no way no sir haha..” Dice laughed to himself as he let Cuphead inside

“Where…is…..?” Cuphead asked Dice

“He’s resting now you may need to stay still if you wanna see him…” Said Dice to Cuphead

[AN HOUR LATER…]

“There…ya all fixed and there’s no need to thank me…” Said Dice

Cuphead couldn’t find a way to respond so he just nod “okay” and went to Mugman who’s still asleep.

“Hey buddy….” Said Cuphead trying not to wake Mugman..

Mugman turned to Cuphead’s direction nearly falling off the bed but Cuphead caught him before he fell.

“Whoa there bud…haha…rest up little buddy…big bro is here…” said Cuphead placing Mugman back in bed.

Mugman woke up hearing Cuphead’s voice and nearly cried.

“C-Cuphead?…” Mugman stammered before he could respond with anything he was about to say next.

Cuphead hugs him calming Mugman down..

“Shh….it’s okay…I’m here lil bro..no need to cry…” said Cuphead in a calming voice

“I…I…I thought you were….” Mugman stuttered trying to say something but continue to cry

“Don’t worry…I’m here now….there’s nothing to be upset about….” said Cuphead still in a calming voice

As Mugman finally calmed down he looked at Cuphead and didn’t let go of him.

“Heheh…want me to stay next to ya for now on?..” asked Cuphead

“Pl…please…” answered Mugman

As the cupbros sat on the bed Cuphead hugged Mugman as he was falling asleep.

Cuphead smiled and places Mugman in bed as he sat next to him.

But what about the Devil? What on earth is King Dice doing with the cupbros?.. those questions remained unanswered…
