Okay, I don’t update the ol’ Gamejolt as much as the other sites Homestead is on.

The GMC topic is a little more up-to-date: http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=642026 But I just don’t do update updates very well. I am posting this to let you all know I’m not dead and neither is Hoimestead! Alpha 0.6.0 is coming along, but there is something you should know!

The next version available here will bea demo because Homestead is going Paid. The GameMaker: Player will have the new “full” version for free for one week after the launch, but then the price jumps to $5.

Now you may be thinking, $5 is a lot, but I have poured hours of work and my life into this game. With the advent of the Grand Bazaar and CloudStead, I’m going to need some income. Servers aren’t free. I also need to eat.

Fear not though, the Early Adopters from the GM:Player free week will get continued updates and what not for free. You may see the launch before the new year, but I wouldn’t count on it.

The Demo isn’t going to be any different from what you guys have been playing already, it just won’t have new stuff like the Grand Bazaaror CloudStead access.

GamePads, Biatch! Play with your favourite gamepad! Support is technically limited to Xbox pads, both 360 and One, but should work with any Xinput pad. Have fun, and check the Key Map for controls!
